Rally & Press Event at City Hall

Join New Economy Project and the NYC Coalition to Stop Credit Checks in Employment on April 16 at 11 am, on the steps of City Hall, as we celebrate NYC’s action to end employment credit checks!

On April 16, the NYC Council is expected to pass Intro 261, the nation’s strongest law banning employment credit checks. Prior to the vote, community and labor groups and New Yorkers harmed by employment credit checks will hold a press conference and rally to celebrate passage of this groundbreaking civil rights legislation.
